Dispersants: Stable Color, Lower Viscosity, Less Settling

In solvent-free epoxy systems, high filler loading and high viscosity often cause poor pigment dispersion, settling, color floating and joint color separation. The KBS dispersant range offers targeted solutions:

KBS-F110K — For epoxy flat coatings and self-leveling base materials. Reduces viscosity, provides anti-sinking performance and improves color spreading.
KBS-F111K — For epoxy coatings and self-leveling base materials. Strong viscosity reduction, improved leveling and gloss.
KBS-F4010E — Modified polyurethane type. For epoxy flat, self-leveling and intermediate coatings. Reduces viscosity and inhibits joint floating color.
KBS-F5050 — Cost-effective choice for epoxy medium coatings.
KBS-F163K — General-purpose color paste dispersant. Good stability; effectively solves joint floating color.
KBS-F104SK — Silicone compound. Can be added before or after to prevent color floatation.

Defoamers: Strong Foam Control Without Cratering

Solvent-free epoxy systems are thick, high-solids and prone to entrapped air. Poor defoamer selection can cause cratering, poor compatibility or surface defects. KBS defoamers are designed to balance defoaming power, compatibility and surface quality.

KBS-X066NK — Fluorine-modified silicone solution. Combines defoaming and compatibility. Defoams effectively without easy cratering.
KBS-X6800A — Modified silicone. Excellent defoaming and foam inhibition.
KBS-X9000T — Modified silicone. Upgraded version of 5680A with better defoaming ability.

Recommended for: epoxy self-leveling topcoats, thick-film systems, mid-coats and difficult foam-control formulations.

Wetting and Leveling Agents: From Orange Peel to Mirror-Like Finish

Surface defects such as orange peel, fish eyes, brush marks and poor edge wetting are common in solvent-free epoxy flooring. KBS wetting and leveling agents help achieve a uniform, smooth and high-gloss surface.

KBS-L3330K — Polyether-modified silicone. Fast leveling; improves orange peel and fish-eye problems.
KBS-L331K — Polyether-modified silicone. Anti-foaming fast leveling agent.
KBS-L1484K — Polyether-modified silicone. Balances anti-foaming and fast leveling; especially suitable for epoxy self-leveling.
KBS-L358NK — Acrylic type. Especially suitable for epoxy self-leveling; long-wave leveling; improves orange peel.
KBS-L3777E — Fluorine-modified acrylate. Long-wave leveling; combines leveling and foam inhibition.

Anti-Settling and Thixotropic Agents: Storage Stability and Sag Resistance

Anti-settling and thixotropic agents are critical for storage stability, vertical sag resistance and joint color uniformity in epoxy floor coatings.

KBS-C6100 — Modified polyamide solution. For brushed floor paints. Liquid additive, easy to apply, strong three-dimensionality.
KBS-C7100 — Acid-containing copolymer solution. For anti-sinking middle primers.
KBS-C410K — Organic polyurea. Provides anti-sinking performance without affecting system viscosity, leveling, gloss or activation period. Effectively solves joint floating color.
